One of the Heart touching songs by Kailash Kher’s album Teri Deewani

Kailash Kher is one of the most artistic and talented singer of today’s Indian Industry. He is also known as the Indio pop singer. From Delhi he started his musical journey; he took training from various classical gurus. He has a great hold on Sufi songs and music which made him more popular in all corners. He started his struggle from Andrei station to the arc lights of Mumbai. He created a band name Kailash with the musician brothers named Naresh and Paresh.

Kailash was recognized by his first break in the film Andaaz in 2003 as a playback singer.

In 2003 Kailash Kher got a small budget film Waisa Bhi Hota Hain in which he play backed the song ‘Allah ke bande’ and it became a smash hit song which made Kher’s voice a reckon. From there onwards there was no looking back for him. He started singing for reputed names and films. He sang for A. R. Rehman, Hamish Reshammiya and more on.

He came with two successful non-film albums namely Kailash in 2006 and Jhoome re in 2007.

He has also done a bit appearance in the movie Waisa Bhi Hota Hain part III (2003). Kailash has also scored music for two films named Gehra Paani in 2006 and the upcoming movie Pranali in 2008. He has also written the lyrics for the songs in Kaal and Traffic signal.

Kailash’s first venture into non- film music was known as Indipop Singer. His album “Teri Deewani” and “Tauba tauba” was one of the biggest chartbusters. His second album ‘Jhoome Re” has also hit the chart.

Kailash Kher has won the best playback singer male award for the song ‘Allah ke bande’ in 2004 from Screen Cine Awards. In 2006 he won Film fare Award for the Best Playback Singer (Male) for the song ‘Chand Sifaarish…’ from film Fanaa. He shared the award with Shantanu Mukherjee.

Later, Kher was seen on the TV show “Mission Ustaad” on channel 9X in 2008. Today he is one of the finest Sufi singers of Indian Film Industry.
